Brandon Berdugo Herrera
Born September 14th, 1973 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. His parents migrated from the northern Atlantic coastal city of Barranquilla, Colombia in the early 1960's. ALthough born and raised in the United States frequent trips to colombia educated him in the family's music, culture and way of life. Barranquilla is home to the famous Carnaval held every February where for four days the city is shut down and celebrates its culture, music and roots. It is from this magical coastal city with its beautiful palm and mango trees, friendly inhabitants and world known Cumbia and Vallenato music that Brandon finds his inspiration.....
